I always get a 14 for length as I can't wear short dresses without a wardrobe malfunction! But the 14 was quite big, the length was great however the fabric just swallowed me up and it was very loose around my waist. I swapped it for a 12 and it is a lot more flattering! Yes, it's a little shorter which means I may have to be pulling down throughout the day, but I'd rather feel a bit more structured than have loose fabric, so defs size down if between sizes."
